As it seems to be appropriate to ask, is there any chance you could tell us if iSkin_black is about to be released quite soon or rather later only? Thanks a lot for a rough idea, this would help a lot with my upgrading plans.

It is high on the list and is a very popular skin. With that being said I have just released two dark skins so the current plan is to release a lighter skin or two. After that it's back to a couple of dark skins

Both the iSkins are very popular as well and are high on the list.

With all of this being said my rant in the private Alpha/Beta forum over at vB is hitting home with a lot of people including support staff and Dev's. The bottom line is the sooner they fix vB 4.x the sooner the skins will be out. I will continue to work on them of course but it is truly a chore.

My plan before I dug in and started these updates was to have them "all" done by now. It simply is impossible to work that fast in 4.x because of the number of bugs with vB's core template system.

I've also been told (then I researched myself to verify) that "all" us skinners are in the same boat. Other sites like this have released one or two skins only. 4.x skins are hard to come by at this point. Some sites have even scrapped all 4.x skins and will only offer 3.x.x skins.

I will get them done, it's just depressing to me and to you all the amount of time it is taking me to do this. I've always prided myself on being the first site to offer full skin updates. No excuses, they are being worked on and will get done. I just ask that you all be as patient as possible.

Hi pank, just a quick question: will there be fixed width and expandable versions of the skins or does the new structure of vB not allow different widths? Thanks a lot.

It's so simple to change there is no longer really any need to offer both.

Just a few more screen shots

Ignore some of the ugly colors like you see in the air skin (the bright yellow is just there to help with development).

Of course once 4.0.2 comes out these will all need to be reworked but we are making progress.

I bought the applied skin a while back and waiting for the 4.0 update as everyone else :-)

I came across the "enlightened" skin and I like it a lot I was wondering if there is a discount for any other kind of deals while we wait for the other skins to be updated?

By the way I tried to login to the support forum and somehow it did not recognize me

Hi, your 1 year of access expired way back in Oct. of 2008 (10/23/2008 ) so that would be the reason you cannot access the customers only area or download your skin.

I do have a 15% discount for expired customers wishing to renew their skins

Anyway we can get a preview of some of the vB4 skins with fixed widths?
