pre purchase about different version of skins

hi there guys, great site and love your work.


before i buy a VB skin i noticed on the info page for them that most come in 2 versions, one with a limited table width and one with an auto width.

my question is do you get both versions for each purchase?

and if so are the 2 completely seperate templates or do you just get the code to modify it either way?


another question, if purchased can i modify the skins to suite my own personal needs as long as i follow the rules and dont share the modification or the original?

Yes an Yes ;)
The .zip contains two skin files. One fixed width and one expanded (this is true for all versions, vB, phpBB and IPB).

And I give you full rights to use the graphics on your website, modified or original. So long as they are never re-distributed in any form. The license I give is for one instance. So you can basically grab the .psd's and go nuts with them ;)

any chance tho for somone wanting all skins in one pack getting a few bucks off each individual one in exchange for purchasing them all at one time?

oh i almost forgot, with the new postbit of VB3 do the new skins comply with both new and legacy postbits?

Yeah. Check out the "all access pass" for $129.00

(note: each pass is only valid for 1 type of forum software, you do "not" get ALL of the vB, phpBB and IPB skins in that package. Each type of software has it's own pass. So if you bought the vB pass you would get all the "vB" skins. If you bought the phpBB pass you would get "only" all of the phpBB skins).

It gives you all the button sets, and all of the skins (for the pass you purchased, i.e. vB or phpBB) for that price. Plus, you get any new skin (for the pass you purchased, i.e. vB or phpBB) released for 1 year after you purchase the pass.

So you get all the skins (for the pass you purchased, i.e. vB or phpBB) , plus any new skins (for the pass you purchased, i.e. vB or phpBB) that are released in the next year. Any product you buy you have access to for 1 year. So that would include updates if you buy just 1 skin, and new skins (for the pass you purchased, i.e. vB or phpBB) if you buy the all access pass.

As far as your postbit question.
yes....

Check out a thread like this one and you can see all 3 scenarios (fixed width, 100% width, and the legacy setup).

The legacy postbit is an option you choose via your admin control panel. So if you choose to use it both versions of the skin (fixed and expanded) will automatically use it.
