IPB 2.2 Skins

With the latest release of IPB (2.2), we are planning on updating all of our current 2.1 skins so they are functional with 2.2

Please keep in mind that the skins will be available for purchase only once the final version of 2.2 has been released by IPS. This is due to the numerous template bit changes which are bound to be updated during the beta stages.

We will keep you all informed of any updates in the future :)

Are you saying you have the new changes already? In other words.. as soon as IPB 2.2 comes out, how long before "your" skins are updated?

Have you had a look at beta yet? If so, I am wondering if there are any changes to the header, member bar and footer template bits. I am planning on updating my mods in these areas and am hoping to get a jump on the coding. That is, if it is safe to do so.

Yeah, due to some new features in 2.2, there are edits for the board header and the member bar.....not sure about the footer, but it's probably changed a bit too.

I will buy the iskin black skinning set as soon as IPB 2.2 gets released. But please make sure you guys upload it as soon as the IPB 2.2 final version gets released. I cant wait to upgrade to 2.2 and I cant wait to use you skin set in IPB 2.2. So please keep us updated.

This update is free as long as we're within 1 year of buying the license correct? For example, I co-admin another board (IPB) and we got iSkin not too long ago for v2.1.7... we should be fine right? TIA

Right, but the TOS says we get free updates for one year after buying the skin. IPB 2.2 is an upgrade, so, if it's final release (after beta) is within a year then the upgrade should be a free download in our member's area, correct?

I would expect it will take awhile. There are allot of changes. Besides, if you want it done right I say take your time :D
